Cheesy potatoes are a staple for the holidays. This recipe is easy to make, delicious and doesn't require the traditional can of soup.


- Frozen hash browns thawed  - Melted unsalted butter - Chopped onion - Sour cream - Grated cheddar cheese - All purpose flour - Chicken or vegetable stock - Corn flakes optional - Salt and pepper to taste

How To Make:

Step 1. Defrost the potatoes. Melt the butter. Step 2. Pour the melted butter over the potatoes and add  sour cream. Mix well.

How To Make:

Step 3. Mix flour and chicken stock to the consistency of thinner sour cream. Step 4. Pour the mixture over the potatoes and stir to combine.

How To Make:

Step 5. Add the shredded cheese, stir again, then place the mixture on the 9×13 inches buttered pan. Step 6. – Bake for 1 hour at 350F/180C.
