Chocolate Cream Cheese Bars

– All purpose flour – Brown sugar – Cinnamon – Unsalted butter

– Cream cheese  – All purpose flour – Granulated sugar – Eggs – Semisweet chocolate chips

– Semisweet chocolate chips – Pecans or walnuts

HOW TO MAKE

First you have to preheat the oven to 350F. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and butter.

HOW TO MAKE

Beat at medium speed for about 2 minutes or until crumbly and well blended. Press mixture into an ungreased pan. Bake for 12 minutes; remove from the oven.

HOW TO MAKE

Beat cream cheese, sugar, two tablespoons of flour, and eggs at medium speed until smooth. Stir in the chocolate chips. Pour the cream mixture over the partially baked crust.

HOW TO MAKE

Bake until the topping is almost set. Remove  from the oven. Immediately sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips over the top. Return to oven for 1 minute to melt the chips.

HOW TO MAKE

Remove from the oven. Spread melted chips over the top. Sprinkle with nuts, lightly pressing them into the chocolate. Refrigerate for 1 hour. Cut into bars. Store in the refrigerator.
